Dump Site
This is photograph was taken from Breaksea Island, looking towards Bald Head. These waters are where the Albany Port Authority is proposing to dump the spoils from the dredging of King George Sound and the channel into Princess Royal Harbour.
I am praying for another small GFC, just enough so that China won't want our mining products and the destruction of yet another piece of a beautiful world won't be destroyed.
The Albany Port Authority, with the help of Grange Resources, are planning to dig a ditch through King George Sound, dump the spoils at the entranceway and fill in an historic, beautiful little cove forever - to fascilitate the shipping away of twenty years' worth of iron ore...
This does not float our boat!
The Save Our Sound blog is administered by a single member of Albany's community. Perhaps a publicist could join me ...
